On the morning of September 21, Manila colleagues gathered at SM by the Bay, united in a common goal: to make a tangible impact on our environment. Armed with gloves and determination, our volunteers took on the task of removing harmful debris from the shoreline. Their efforts resulted in the collection of 59 kilograms of plastic waste, including bottles, wrappers, and Styrofoam—items that pose a serious threat to marine ecosystems.
Volunteers engaged in meaningful discussions on the importance of adopting sustainable habits, reinforcing the collective responsibility we all share in safeguarding marine life.
By working with MSAAI, Manila colleagues amplified Odfjell’s message of sustainability and demonstrated our leadership in promoting responsible practices across the maritime industry.
“This initiative highlights Odfjell’s proactive approach to environmental protection and serves as proof of the power of collaboration. Our participation in the International Coastal Cleanup is a clear reflection of Odfjell’s values. It shows our dedication to protecting the environments in which we operate,” shares HR Manager Julie Ann Ignacio.
