TransFast, one of ShipMoney’s money transfer and cross-border payments providers, has discontinued providing cash payout services effective July 28. The company has also decided to exit the business.
Crewmembers will still be able to use Western Union and MoneyGram options for cash pickup, and will still have the option to send direct-to-bank wires and card-to-card transfers.
ShipMoney is currently developing additional transfer methods that will be of great value to seafarers.
