Project KISS (yes, the acronym for keep it short and simple) aims to revise Ship Management's Manual 17 procedures based on the Lovoy Method, a method for writing concise text that focuses on style, layout and structure. With the new format, the procedures are expected to be more process-oriented, based on risk assessment, and user-friendly.
A number of colleagues from sea and shore are currently putting in the hard work to make sure the project is completed by December 15:
