Our new vessels need names – join the election!

Cast your vote and help decide the names of the four Nissen newbuildings. Which name series should we choose?

The winning names will be given to four new 25,000 dwt chemical tankers with 26 stainless steel tanks currently being built in Japan. The first newbuilding is expected to be delivered in September 2022.

The ships are owned by one of Odfjell’s tonnage partners, the Nissen group, who also owns Pacific Endeavour, Bow Performer and Bow Precision.
 

Name suggestions

Odfjell’ers can choose from three sets of name suggestions, two of which came from the 2017 naming competition:

  • Bow Apollo – Bow Artemis – Bow Ajax – Bow Argus
  • Bow Commander – Bow Charger – Bow Challenger – Bow Contender


The last is a revival of the names of ships that used to be part of the fleet:

  • Bow Cheetah – Bow Puma – Bow Leopard – Bow Lion
