Since its establishment in 2007, Odfjell Ship Management (Phils.), Inc. (OSMPI), the representative office for Odfjell SE in the Philippines, has undergone a lot of changes. From solely supporting ship management's operations, the office in Manila progressed into a solid provider of various services to the global Odfjell organization.
To ensure that the company name reflects both the organization's growth and the expansion of its role, a move to change the name from OSMPI to OMPI was initiated.
As of February 17, 2022, OSMPI is history and the company is officially called Odfjell Management Philippines, Inc., or OMPI.
