The event, held March 13, primarily aimed to introduce both YoungShip Philippines and Odfjell to the 70-strong crowd of shore-based maritime professionals.
Tonchi Mendoza, Quality Analyst Fleet Performance, is one of the four founding members of the non-profit, while Odfjell is one of the organization’s key supporters in the country. YoungShip Philippines is a member of YoungShip International, a professional non-profit organization for young (35 and below) people working within the global maritime industry.
“The arrival of YoungShip in the Philippines brings exciting prospects for young professionals in the maritime field. It's a chance for them to meet and learn from experts in the industry.
YoungShip holds particular significance for Filipino talents, offering them a platform to showcase their abilities on a global scale. As one of the founding members, I am honored to represent Odfjell, advocating for positive values within the industry.
We are enthusiastic about the opportunities presented by YoungShip and remain dedicated to aiding the growth and success of young maritime professionals.”
