Odfjell Tankers' Safety & Quality conference held in Bergen

The annual conference gathered 17 ship owners and ship managers for updates on commercial, digital and technical operations.

In company with Odfjell representatives from Singapore and Bergen, the delegates attended three packed seminar days at the scenic Solstrand fjord hotel.

Fleet Performance Analyst Christopher Stene leads the Fleet Performance session.

 

Odfjell Tanker’s expectations, weather routing, safe cargo handling, bridge team management, lessons learned from incidents, energy efficiency, IMO 2020 and utilization of our fleet were among the discussed subjects. The group shared experiences and discussed possible improvements moving forward. 

The attendees represented Odfjell Tankers’ partners from various ship owners and ship managers.

The seminar has become a solid tradition for Odfjell Tankers, with 2019 being the 15th in a row. The first seminar was held in 2004.
