“It was our very first time visiting a tanker, and the experience was highly valuable. It was also a great pleasure to meet all the dedicated crew members.”
Norwegian Ambassador in Singapore, Anita Nergaard

Captain Steffensen and his crew welcomed the ambassador and her First Secretary on board and invited them for a tour of the vessel. The 14 year old Bow Spring is well maintained and operated, and made a very positive impression on the visitors.

CEO Kristian Mørch visited Bow Sea at the Singapore anchorage late June.
Safety and trade, and communication between sea and shore were among the discussion topics on board, with positive reports from the Captain and the crew.

VP Maritime Personnel Torger Trige visited Bow Fuling late May, following the transfer of the vessel’s management to Thome Ship Management.
Trige met with the remaining crew on board to make sure they are well informed about the transfer, and to attend to any concerns they might have.

One of Odfjell’s key customers, SK Lubricants, visited Bow Summer when she was alongside in Ulsan in June. A first time visit on board a vessel, and a unique opportunity to see first-hand how their cargo is handled by Odfjell. The visit coincided with Bow Summer discharging SK Lubricant's cargo.
“The 2005 built Bow Summer is still in a condition excellent enough to impress them. They couldn’t believe that Bow Summer is that old, and expressed trust in the way Odfjell manage our good vessels”
Chartering Manager for Odfjell Tankers in Seoul, DH Chong
