The COVID-19 pandemic continues to change the world in ways that nobody could have predicted. As we strive to find our footing in this unprecedented situation, we simultaneously gather experiences and learn a lot along the way.

What is it like to work and live on board these days?
Here are some examples of photos and videos:
- Photos and videos showing:
- General life on board: what has changed, what remains the same
- Extra preventive measures to ensure health and safety on board and at ports
- Activities that help you cope with the ongoing pandemic and all its effects
- We encourage images and footages of people, but also welcome sceneries and views. The competition is first and foremost about you and your experiences.
- Ensure that all safety procedures are observed when documenting people at work. Pay special attention to environmental hazards and PPE.
- Timelapse videos are welcome, while music videos using copyrighted materials are not encouraged due to copyright restrictions.
- Feel free to express your creativity in shooting the photos or filming the footages. Use resources as necessary, and make edits on your output as you wish. Just remember: Safety first. NOTE: Hazardous area restrictions must be obeyed at all times.
What you need to know
- There will be separate categories for photos and videos. Feel free to submit entries to both categories, and to submit as many entries as you wish.
- Submit entries in full resolution via WeTransfer, emailing to shiela.virtusio@odfjell.com. Make sure to identify yourself. You may also include a title for your piece as you please.
- Deadline for submission of entries is on May 31, 2020.
Special prizes await the best submissions, and selected entries will be featured in Bow News, on Odfjell’s intranet and social media sites.
