On December 7th, the team at Odfjell India welcomed customers and contacts to a social event in Mumbai. About 60 chemical traders, suppliers, receivers, terminal operators, surveyors and agents attended.

Dignitaries from the chemical industry attended the social event, including Tricon India, C J Shah, ALTIS, Suraj Chem, Vinmar India, Adani Hazira Port, Hazel, GAC India (our ship agents) and Odfjell India team members.

 

Odfjell Tankers has a history in India that dates back to 1988, when a marketing and operations support office was established in New Delhi. The office subsequently moved to Mumbai in 1995.
 
The team in India is commercially and operationally serving the fleet of Odfjell Tankers, as well as local customers in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Odfjell has seen continuous growth on the Indian subcontinent over the years, with around 150-170 port calls and volumes of 1.5 up to 2 million tonnes annually.
