As part of a recent Shanghai tour to build relations between the Chinese and Norwegian maritime industries, State Secretary Geir Inge Sivertsen visited the Hudong Zhonghua shipyard. The team from the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries took the opportunity for a photo in front of Bow Odyssey.
Deputy Site Manager Kjell Arne Hevroy was Odfjell's representative at the yard during the visit. In an article posted on the Norwegian Government's website and in their official e-newsletter, Odfjell is specially mentioned as builder of Bow Odyssey and Bow Orion, and as an example of the cooperation between the Norwegian and Chinese maritime industries. The article also highlights the Tanker Ship of the Year award.
