Gunnar steps into the role with more than 22 years of experience at Odfjell, where he has held several leadership positions across the organization. Since 2022, he has served as Vice President HSSEQ, Ship Management, based in Bergen.
His career also includes time with Odfjell Terminals Korea (OTK) and as General Manager of our Durban office, giving him broad operational and cultural insight across our global network.
He succeeds Svend Foyn-Bruun, who has led the Manila office for the past five years. Under Svend’s leadership, Manila has strengthened its role as a hub for seafarer support and ship management functions.
Svend will return to Bergen, where his extensive knowledge and experience will continue to benefit our Ship Management team.
