The two departments “Investor Relations and Research” and “Commercial Analysis” have been merged into a new department called “Corporate Analysis and Investor Relations” led by Bjørn Kristian Røed, Manager IR and Research. Røed continues to report to to the CFO but have a dotted line to the COO for analyses and other services provided to Ship Management and Odfjell Tankers.
The main purpose of this change is to create one team responsible to work on aligned data and by that strengthening and streamlining our analytical capacity. We now have one common and central source for business and market analyses at Odfjell whether they are produced for shipping, terminals, finance, or corporate.
The new “Pool Management” department, headed by Per Christian Jæger, VP Commercial Analysis, is responsible for the management and follow-up of all our commercial pools. In his new capacity, Jæger reports to Bjørn Hammer, Global Head of Tanker Trading, and works closely with internal as well as external stakeholders.
Demurrage, Time Charter Administration, and Pool Accounting are also transferred to this department. We will soon be operating six commercial pools at Odfjell at this change will ensure resources to properly manage this important task.
