Launched in 2023, the Trauma Support Manual was intended to support all leaders on board to identify and follow up situations that can have traumatic potential. Such situations can be accidents, natural incidents, finding refugees, serious incidents at home, and many other things that we never thought would happen.
Reaction to traumatic situations varies from person to person, but it is important for leaders to be equipped with proper knowledge on how to provide support, and to have a handy guide available. The rest of the crew on board may also check out the manual as the guidelines presented are rather general and can be of help to anyone.
