For one month from December 10 until January 10, there will be an increase in bandwidth on board all Odfjell vessels, including the fleet managed by Thome. The increase will range from 20% to 50% depending on the technical capability of the systems on board the vessels.
The increased bandwidth is the company's gesture of appreciation for the unwavering hard work, dedication and patience demonstrated by our seafarers. 2020 has been a year unlike anything we have experienced for decades, and the challenges and strain experienced are unprecedented.
It is hoped that the increase in bandwidth during the Christmas holidays can lighten the days and make it easier for everyone on board to stay in touch with family and friends.
