It is with deep regret we have to inform that Captain Inocencio Valmonte, Jr. passed away in his home province in Davao, Philippines, Tuesday 7th of May. He was 57 years old.
Captain Valmonte had a very long service with Odfjell, which started in 1988 when he first served as Third Officer on board Bow Star Old 1. He became a Captain in 2005, and was recognized for his 25 years of service in 2011. He signed off from Bow Lind last January.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends for the loss they have suffered.
