Extraordinary Captains' Workshop in Manila

The active participation of the Captains made the recently-concluded Captains' Workshop in Manila a successful event.

We are all in this together.

This was the constant reminder from Global Head of Ship Management Geirmund Drivenes who, together with VP Maritime Personnel Torger Trige, led the Extraordinary Captains' Conference on January 8th.

 

The Captain participants all had insightful ideas to share.

 

It had been a fruitful whole-day session, as the 13 Filipino and NWE Captain participants openly shared their insights on various matters concerning Ship Management. Discussions revolved around the company's safety culture in light of the major accidents from 2018, the fleet's vetting performance in the past year, as well as updates on procedures and projects.

 

Captain Brando Gabriel shares some best practices in preparing for vetting inspections.

 

The Global Head and the VP concluded the workshop thanking the participants for their valuable inputs and honest feedback.
