There was also a presentation from Crew Planning Officer Ella Belleza on crew-specific updates, and a talk from Magsaysay Houlder Insurance Brokers, Inc.'s (MHIBI) Gemma Cardona on the health insurance coverage of Odfjell seafarers and their dependents.
The Safety Workshop for crewmembers commenced with the groups discussing among themselves the hazards in, and proper personal protective equipment for, typical work situations on board.
The results of the group discussions were afterwards presented, as done in Bacolod and Cebu. This prompted a thorough discussion that encouraged everyone to share their insights, including the Odfjell cadets from the Davao Merchant Marine Academy College Of Southern Philippines who assisted all throughout the event.
The recently rolled out Pre-Work Talk and Debrief Form was also tackled during the workshop.
The Allottees Workshop, which focused on financial wellness and emergency preparedness, had been as productive as the Safety Workshop.
