We regret to inform you that three of our crew members on board Bow Optima have tested positive of Covid-19. Fortunately, the entire crew is fully vaccinated and our three infected colleagues experience light symptoms only. The required precautionary measures were implemented as soon as symptoms were reported.
Bow Optima is currently at anchorage in Durban. The Covid-19 response team is mustered to support the captain and crew, and is cooperating closely with the local authorities to mitigate this situation and expedite the vessel’s operations and commercial logistics. Delays are expected and charterers are informed.
