The pioneer crew of Bow Capricorn, led by Captain Angelo Barrera III, took over the vessel on April 8th at Port Khalid, Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.
Built in 2016, the 40,900 dwt supersegrator has the capacity to handle a wide variety of our customers’ specialty products – with proven energy efficiency.
Bow Capricorn is the fourth and final bareboat ship to be taken over by Odfjell as part of the Framework Agreement with Sinochem Shipping. The other three bareboat vessels – Bow Hercules, Bow Gemini and Bow Aquarius – were all delivered in 2018.
