APLA and the Odfjell Terminal Tagsa anniversary

12.12.2019
The annual APLA convention took place in Buenos Aires this year, and as per tradition it was an active week for our South America team. This year was yet a bit extraordinary, as Odfjell Terminals Tagsa invited to a grand celebration of its 50-year anniversary.
All Odfjell and Odfjell Terminals' guests gathered on stage for a glittery toast

The 2019 event is the 39th Latin American Petrochemical Annual Meeting. Founded in 1980, the APLA organization represents the petrochemical and chemical industry of Latin America. The annual APLA event gathers the main companies, chambers and associations of the sector.

Odfjell’ers from Sao Paulo, Houston and Bergen headed to Buenos Aires for a hectic week of networking and discussions with customers about the market, contracts and expectations for the coming years.

APLA is one of the most important meeting points for Odfjell Tankers and our Latin American brokers and customers, as it gathers Presidents, CEOs, managers, technology specialists and leaders from a large section of the chemical industry – Lyondell, Braskem, Tricon, Shell, YPF, Mitsubishi, Dow and Oxiteno included.
