Captain Jose Vicente U. Jardiniano delivered the acceptance speech on behalf of all the awardees. The master mariner looked back at the trials and challenges seafarers like him went through in order to get to where they are today. He also explained why he remained loyal to the company:
"I started from the lowest rank but with the help of this company, I strived to become a better version of myself and achieved my current rank as a Captain. I'll always be thankful to this company for all the opportunites and also for being my proper foundation to become a successful person."
